The City has installed over 400 bike racks with a $120,000 grant received from the State of California. Additional funding has been secured from the federal government through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 funding to more than double that number in 2010 (approximately 2,000 racks have been ordered and are expected to be installed this summer).
